Breadcrumbs.

I find comfort in believing the universe sends us signs confirming we’re living in alignment.

Like little breadcrumbs on the path toward one’s true purpose.

Meeting someone you feel like you’ve known your entire life.
Seeing your favorite number repeated on a license plate while driving to an audition.
Or hearing your favorite song come on the radio just as you’re about to make a big decision.

They’re usually subtle synchronicities, but occasionally they come as big neon signs. As if the universe is tossing you the entire bread loaf, urging you to keep going.

I’ve encountered several of these breadcrumbs over the years. Some grander than others. But each one grabbed me by the shoulders and spun me around to face my inner child.
Reminding me to return to the pure joy of creating.

Perhaps these breadcrumbs aren’t leading us somewhere new but instead guiding us back home.
